新詩的“百年孤獨”與“萬古愁”———新詩時間尺度與歷史視域在新世紀的生成

“One Hundred Years of Solitude” and “Sorrow through the Ages”: The Temporal Dimension and Historical Perspectives in the 21st Century’s Chinese New Poetry

本文以“新詩百年”爲議題背景，結合新世紀以來新詩在創作、批評、研究與出版諸領域對此時間節點的反應，引入當代詩人臧棣的詩中“新詩的百年孤獨”與張棗的詩中“萬古愁”這兩個隱喻式説辭，用其在“元詩”層面的象征意義，認爲前者關聯百年來新詩的歷史境遇，後者關聯新詩的優異作者所要處理的“對話知音”式精神主題。藉由此綫索，探討新詩時間尺度與歷史視域的生成；並嘗試回答，它如何基於這種時間尺度與歷史視域，來自我確認與尋求外部理解。

Against the backdrop of the one hundredth anniversary of Chinese New Poetry, this article aims to discuss the understanding of the fields of creative writing, criticism, scientific research and publishing of the past century, in view of two metaphorical rhetorical devices in Zang Di’s “One Hundred Years of Solitude” and Zhang Zao’s “Sorrow through the Ages.” Regarded within the symbolic significance of “meta-poetry,” the former metaphor is related to the historical situation of the New Poetry of the past century, while the latter concerns the mental motif of the “search for a receptive audience,” which any outstanding poet must confront. With the hints of these two propositions, this article will explore the temporal dimension of New Poetry and the making of its historical perspectives, and will attempt to reveal the mechanism with which it proceeds with self-verification and seeks extrinsic comprehension.
