Abstract

今天學界多從輸入（input）及輸出（output）兩方面衡量研究高等院校的辦學成效。輸入方面分爲硬件及軟件。硬件如：財政資助、教職員學歷等人才資源、課程設計、校舍設施及圖書館藏書等；軟件如：學生校園生活、學生組織、課外活動、學生歸屬感、校友會組織等。至於輸出方面，如畢業生成就、師生的學術研究成果及爲社會創造知識等。豐裕經濟支援，較能爲師生提供豐盛的校園生活，以及資助教職員進行更多研究，不能否定的是校方適當地運用經濟資源，較容易培訓人才，錢“財”與人“才”配合得宜，更容易締造一代學風。(撮要取自內文首段)
