白馬論的論旨是“白馬非馬”。此説一向以來引起了不少爭議。其實，“白馬非馬”這命題是可以有多種不同的語意詮釋的。本文通過邏輯分析的方法，把其中不同的語意詮釋分析清楚，以揭示並由此消解白馬論的誤導性。

The main thesis of the “Theory of White Horse”, namely that white horse is not horse, has aroused a large number of philosophical controversies. The present paper is an attempt to show that the thesis just mentioned is semantically ambiguous, such that the technique of logical analysis can be employed to clarify the ambiguity of the thesis concerned and accordingly to reveal the misleading nature of the Theory of White Horse.
