談起中國歷代的女詩人,大約只有李清照、朱淑真這些名字爲大家耳熟能詳。其實我國清代的閨閣詩人有詩詞文集傳世者不在少數。可惜進入二十世紀以後,隨著傳統詩詞逐漸退出主流文壇,女作家亦罕有以詩名世者。但在這個時代作傳統詩詞,濾浄了世俗的因素,純爲寄意遣懷,反而能出有真性情的佳作。香港古琴家、書家及音樂教育家蔡德允女史最近出版的《愔愔室詩詞文稿》,便是因爲編集了從前〝未嘗有發表於世之想〞的全部舊作,而充分展現了一位從傳統中走來的現代女詞人的獨特風采。她精通古琴和書法的藝術氣質,使她自然繼承了清代閨閣詩人的優雅和柔婉;而她所經歷的將近一個世紀的變遷,又不可避免地爲她的詩詞烙上了時代的印記。(撮要取自內文首段)
