Abstract

本文舉例説明對香港詞語進行多角度比較研究的重要性，包括共時的横向比較、歷時的縱向比較、方言之間的内向比較以及跟外語之間的外向比較。重點是跟普通話的比較，並從同義語素的選擇、語序的顛倒、同形異義詞語、同義異形詞語以及義項的增加等幾個方面進行了分析，在此基礎上進一步討論香港方言詞語所透露出來的豐富的文化内涵。

The paper illustrates the importance of comparative studies on Hong Kong dialect’s words, including the synchronic comparison, historical comparison, comparison with different dialects, and comparison with foreign languages. It focuses on the comparison between Hong Kong’s words and mandarin words, analyzing their differences in synonymous morphemes, word order, homographs, synonyms, and semantic items. It also discusses the cultural meanings of Hong Kong dialect’s words.
