對孟軻之辯的研究一直是孟學研究的薄弱环節。并且僅有的研究多是在邏輯學領域展開，而未觀照先秦儒學作爲政治哲學的基本性格，因此從政治哲學的角度檢討孟軻之辯的研究尚付闕如。本文將以詮釋孟子所謂“辯”之“不得已”爲中心，説明孟軻之辯的如何奠基在其獨特的政治哲學背景上，以及這個政治哲學背景對解讀孟軻之辯的詮釋學意義。

The investigation of Mencius’ debating ideology is always the weakest part of all the Mencius researches, and the investigations we already had today are almost developed in the philosophy area, but not based on the Confucianism of Pre Ch’ in Dynasty which is the basic personality of Political Philosophy. Therefore the researches from the view of Political Philosophy are still vacant. This article will try to focus on the explanation of “unwilling” idea of Mencius‘ debating ideology, and will try to explain how this ideology is laid as a foundation of its special Political Philosophy background. And the article will also explore how the Political Philosophy background works for Mencius’ debating ideology.
