相對於唐宋詞的研究而言，學界對明詞的研究不夠重視，原因主要有兩個方面：一是自清代以來一直認爲明詞是千年詞史上的衰微期，存在曲化、俗化等弊病，整體研究價值不高；二是明代詞學資料較爲零散，没有經過系統的整理，無法全面認識有明一代詞作。(撮要取自內文首段)
