傳世本《文子》及許慎、高誘釋讀《淮南》考

A Comparative Study on the Interpretation of the Huainanzi by the Received Wenzi, Xu Shen and Gao You

《淮南》一書，向稱難讀。自西漢成書以來，《淮南》屢經傳鈔，當中訛誤衍脱甚多，加之其書文辭深奥，學者欲求通讀其書，誠非易事。猶幸《淮南》之文多與《文子》互見，而多存《淮南》舊貌，故前輩學者屢取《文子》、《淮南》互見重文，以正《淮南》之失。學者既嘗提出書證，以明今本《文子》成書於東漢之世，其年代與傳世之《淮南》許慎、高誘注解之撰寫年代，相去未遠。然則比對今本《文子》及許慎、高誘對《淮南》之訓釋，或有助了解漢人釋讀《淮南》之異同。本篇之撰，欲蒐集今本《文子》、《淮南》互見之文，復旁考許慎、高誘相關注解，進而比對今本《文子》、許慎、高誘三家，對《淮南》之訓解，以見三家説解之同異，冀能有助於《淮南》文辭之整理、文義之理解。

It is generally acknowledged that the received version of the Wenzi 《文子》 is closely related to the Huainanzi 《淮南子》. By comparing the received version of the Wenzi with the Huainanzi comprehensively, scholars have expanded on typical examples to point out that the former modified the latter in various ways. In addition, scholars have provided plausible evidences to hint that Eastern Han 東漢 period was the date of compilation the Received Wenzi. This evidence shows the Wenzi should be compiled around the age of Xu Shen 許慎 and Gao You 高誘 when they wrote their commentaries on the Huainanzi. Base on investigations of scholars, this paper shows different interpretations of the Huainanzi by the Received Wenzi, Xu Shen and Gao You. This will be helpful to achieve at more reliable reading of the Huainanzi.
