《郭店楚墓竹簡》發表後不久，《上海博物館藏戰國楚竹書（册一至册六）》亦陸續出版。這批竹簡屬於戰國晚期，爲楚國遷都以前的墓葬品。本文集中研究第二册《從政甲》篇的一個問題。此篇雖早有完整的釋文與考釋，但未如理想之處尚多。其中“■（?）則■（失）衆”，首字釋文闕略。本篇擬匡正原釋文釋讀上的疏失，並釐清一些學者間爭論已久的問題。

作者認爲，簡文“■”字當隸定爲“洒”，讀爲“峻”。在古文獻中，“峻”字常用來表達“嚴峻”與“急迫”的意思。

Not long after the official publication of the Guodian Chumu zhujian 郭店楚墓竹簡, bamboo texts excavated from the burial grounds of the Chu capital dating back to the Warring States period 戰國時代 were published in the form of a series of books entitled Shanghai bowuguan cang Zhanguo Chu zhushu (vol. 1 - vol. 6) 上海博物館藏戰國楚竹書 (册一至册六) (Shanghai: Shanghai guji chubanshe, 2001 — 2007).

My study focuses on the forth essay of the second volume of the series, which was named as Cong zheng I 從政甲篇. Although it includes a complete transcription of the bamboo texts and provides full explanatory notes, the work is still far from satisfactory. For example, the phase "■(?)則■(失)衆” in the essay even includes a character remains undeciphered. The present thesis attempts to rectify the errors in the official decipherments, readings and interpretations of the above phase, and to settle some lingening and entangling disputes amongst scholars, so that the original meanings of the texts can be brought to light.

As a result, the character “■” is deciphered as “洒”, and is carefully proved to be a phonetic loan character of “峻”, which commonly means “harsh and compelling” in ancient documents.
