“詩史”、“以詩證史”、“詩史互證”，這些大家都耳熟能詳，但要明晰地説出其内涵、歷史發展脉絡，却又相當困難。關於這些術語概念、理論問題，學界雖有廣泛地關注，但却不够系統深入，張暉先生新近出版的《中國的“詩史”傳統》一書，通過扎實的文獻考辨與理論闡釋，探討了“詩史”内涵的形成及增衍，梳理了“詩史”説的歷史圖景，并對“詩史”傳統與抒情傳統、“以詩證史”與“詩史互證”等加以辨析反思，極具開拓性，推進了這一領域的研究。(撮要取自內文首段)
