本期所刊論文均以儒家傳統倫理為出發點，探討新的生殖技術所帶來的道德挑戰以及軍隊醫學在當代所面臨的道德問題，故以“儒家傳統與新的挑戰” 為題。論文曾在今年7 月香港浸會大學應用倫理學研究中心舉辦的第五屆「建構中國生命倫理學」研討會上交流，後經編者評議和作者修改而成。
