當我們談論建構中國生命倫理學這個議題時，我們會問這樣的問題：中國有沒有在規範意義上的倫理學或生命-醫學倫理學？如果有的話，我們應如何界定中國語境脈絡下生命-醫學倫理學 ？是西方思想在中國語境脈絡下的應用與實踐？亦或是中國生命-醫學倫理學與自身的傳統文化和觀念接軌？本期針對這一問題進行探討與反思，但其進路不是從純粹的理論層面出發，而是從現存醫學或醫療倫理的幾個案例出發，在具體的時空脈絡中為中國當代生命-醫學倫理學設定考量的角度和範圍。
